Caroline Bird’s Website.
Caroline is a young, passionate and talented poet. Initially we were told to build a simple HTML website to hold basic information about her. After looking through the brief and we thought it will more engaging for her audience by giving it a hint of her personality to the website.
We did not want the site design to overpower her works. Hence we opted for a simple, clean and typographical approach. The site navigation is simple translation of how Caroline works, paper and pencil. Caroline also has the desire to inspire others and get them excited about poetry by giving workshops and readings. And we thought a simple blog can help to keep not only her fans but also publishers to know what’s she has been up to.
The site is full flash to create the fluid movement and playfulness in it. The site is also built on a CMS, Caroline will be able to manage her content.
