<p>This 2mins 19s (21:9) film runs as an endless loop, allowing viewers to control their moves through the scene. The film also contains embedded hotspots, which, when triggered, give us a behind-the-scenes look at some of the shots.<br />

<p><strong>Proton MPV background</strong></p>
<p>Proton MPV is due to launch at the end of April 2009 nationwide Malaysia. Proton MPV is a late comer for the MPV market and most of the USP on spacious, power, fuel-efficient and comfort have been dominated by most brands. Hence we proposed to Proton to own the &#8220;emotional space&#8221;, however this approach can be a step or two detached from the product itself. Nonetheless with the rest of the strategy put in place, the creative is bought.</p>
<p>To intensify the curiosity and hype, teaser campaign will be using various media to road block and constantly encourage audience to think about how they feel or how would they ideally want their journey to be like while traveling with their children or even parents.</p>

<p>We did not want the site design to overpower her works. Hence we opted for a simple, clean and typographical approach. The site navigation is simple translation of how Caroline works, paper and pencil. Caroline also has the desire to inspire others and get them excited about poetry by giving workshops and readings. And we thought a simple blog can help to keep not only her fans but also publishers to know what&#8217;s she has been up to.</p>
<p>The site is full flash to create the fluid movement and playfulness in it. The site is also built on a CMS, Caroline will be able to manage her content.</p>

<p>I’m honoured to be asked to design this year’s Christmas newsletter for the Assumption Church. This year’s Christmas issue is all about the word of God. I was told that many church goers do not read their bible and this is one area that they need me to reflect on the cover design. I too was in need to know the word of God before I can start my process.</p>

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.</em><br />

<p>This word points out to us a peculiar and puts a difference between this Word, which is the Son of God, and the laws of God, which are also called the word of God.<br />

<p>Here we see the Word is God and God is Jesus. Now lets move on to</p>
<p><span style="color: #666666;"><em><strong>John 1:4-5</strong><br />
In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it.</em></span></p>
<p>Jesus is the light for men, the life for men. The life that Christ bestows enlightens men. He is the Light of the World as also the light of men; the fountain of wisdom, holiness, and happiness, to man in his original state.</p>
<p>To put them into a very simple message for this Christmas issue:</p>
<p><em>Light reveals. Word describes.</em></p>
<p><strong>Christmas Newsletter cover design</strong><strong>: The execution.</strong></p>
<p>The initial execution is to have the cover in black paper. The word Jesus will be made out of tiny holes / dots which can be archived by laser die-cutting method. If the newsletter is lying flat on the table, you see nothing but a piece of black newsletter cover. However, it you lift the cover up and look under the light - it&#8217;ll reveals, the word &#8220;Jesus&#8221;.</p>
<p>But due to the cost of laser die-cutting, the cover is now printed with 100% black, and the word &#8220;Jesus&#8221; is printed with 95% black on a relative thin paper 100gsm or so. We&#8217;ll see beable to achive the similar result when one looks under the light.</p>

<p>Skysprout is a new, independent business trying to break into the ferocious market of kids fashion. Their brand is slowly gaining recognition within the local communities, doing well within shops. However, they know they&#8217;re loosing out much on the bigger share of the pie especially on the web.</p>
<p>Skysprout is all about having fun growing up, and their photography is brilliant. Their current website design is not fully utilising and taking advantage of this. What we have proposed is a more lively and the idea of pushing the lifestyle of Skysprout to their audience. Fashion is not about just the fabrics or colours but it&#8217;s about the lifestyle, the cool and how they position themselves.</p>

She&#8217;ll not only help you to find your career but also advise you on how best to make use of your talents be it at work or on a personal level.</p>
<p>She needed an identity to represent her, something that will not only sell RC&#8217;s services but also create an instant impression to start a dialogue. Since her business model is all about the people, either you are student or an organisation.</p>

<p><strong>Design Process</strong><strong>.</strong></p>
<p>The identity took inspiration from childhood memory - playing outdoor in the vast field, the warm feeling of sunshine on your face, the smell of freshness, the sound of goodness and all the laughter&#8230; ultimately, you know you&#8217;re in good hands, safe and all the good things that are waiting for you as you&#8217;re growing up.</p>
<p>The visual representation for RC is a set of &#8220;all the good things&#8221; icons and all these are captured by a butterfly net which also formed part of the &#8220;R&#8221; - as if you&#8217;re running with the net.</p>
